Water Quality Monitoring
About This Project
The Noyo Harbor Blue Economy project in partnership with the City of Fort Bragg, the Noyo Harbor District in partnership with California Sea Grant and the Noyo Center for Marine Sciences have established water quality monitoring in Noyo Harbor.
Real-time sensors measure:
- Dissolved Oxygen (DO) — Critical for marine life
- Salinity — Indicates mixing of freshwater and seawater
- Temperature — Affects oxygen levels and species habitat
- Tide — Water depth at the probes, driven by ocean tides
Use the navigation on the left to explore data by parameter, comparing the in-water monitoring probes.
